Williamsport, MD – Carmen JoAnn Byers, 71, of Williamsport, MD passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 21, 1952, in Williamsport, MD to the late Jack Mervin and Sarah Elizabeth Scott Eichelberger.
She was previously employed by the Washington County Health Department.
She was a Christian.
Carmen is survived by her husband Wallace Franklin Byers, Sr. whom she married on December 5, 2006; daughter Melissa A. Garcia of Coinjock, NC; daughter Carisa L. Anderson of Poplar Branch, NC; son Jack M. Myers of Williamsport, MD; son Ralph C. Myers of Williamsport, MD; son Mick Byers, Jr. of Falling Waters, WV; son Mick McGinnis Byers, Jr. of Williamsport, MD; sister Brenda Denneen of Winter Park, FL; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers Richard E. Eichelberger and Jack M. Eichelberger, Jr.
Services and burial will be private.
